To get rid of the pollen and dust in your nostrils, relieve some of the pressure in your face, and release some of that fluid from you nose and sinuses, you've got to try using a Rhino Horn neti pot. Once you try it, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Rhino Horn Neti pots are made of nearly indestructible HDPE plastic making them perfect for travel as well as use at home. They are dishwasher and microwave safe and will give years of maintenance free service.

Rhino Horns are made in Norway to international standards, not a cheap Chinese product. Rhino Horn is CE-marked in compliance with the 93/42/EEC directive as medical equipment of class 1.

From Wikipedia

Nasal Irrigation or Jala Neti is a personal hygiene practice which involves flooding the nasal cavity with warm saline solution. The goal of nasal irrigation is to clear out excess mucus and particulates while moisturizing the nasal cavity. The practice has been subjected to clinical testing and has been found to be safe and beneficial, with no apparent side effects.

Nasal Irrigation It is an ancient technique, originating from the Yoga practice of Jala Neti literally meaning "water cleansing".

Nasal Irrigation can purportedly:

  • Relieve nasal dryness
  • Improve breathing
  • Temporarily reduce symptoms of post nasal drainage
  • Reduce cough caused by post-nasal drip

This method of rinsing the nose with lukewarm saltwater is an easy and gentle way of removing crusts and foreign particles from the nasal passages. It's simple to do and has no harmful side effects. It has proved to be highly effective in the prevention and treatment of sinusitis, and is also a useful component in the treatment of chronic sinusitis. Those suffering from pollen and dust allergies may in many cases reduce their symptoms by practising nasal cleansing.

    Folk traditions and Yoga

Nasal cleansing has been incorporated in folk medicine in many areas of the world and is a natural method of medical treatment.

Fishermen all over the world have rinsed their nasal passages with salt water for generations. In some African tribes nasal cleansing is referred to as a «purifier of thoughts», i.e. clearing the head. In the Yoga tradition nasal cleansing is one of several cleansing processes.

Yoga is an ancient system of practical methods used to increase physical and mental well-being. The use of various Yoga techniques is spreading rapidly in our culture today. The cleansing technique of brushing the teeth has been practiced for thousands of years in the Yoga tradition, but it has only been common in Western culture for about 100 years. Now nasal cleansing is also becoming more widespread in our culture.
